The Traveling Mercy Band Leader & Pastor
The Traveling Mercy, a band leader by front man, Pastor Nate, brings new music to the world. Pastor Nate, is the songwriter and producer, and it is not just a stage name for him, but a calling.
Pastor Nate made his debut in the early 2000’s, overseeing Los Angeles’s first hip hop church, JAH’S World Foundation Christian Fellowship. His raw style of praise and worship, over break beats, lead to his first recorded compilation, titled Tried By Fire. This was a compilation of Christian Hip Hop artists that emerged from within his congregation, including himself, formerly known as The ChristSide Hustla. The four act revue received local recognition, as well as some regional momentum.
Since then, he has done missions work around the world, but never traveled without his music. Pastor Nate honed his skills as a composer, and vocalist while preparing to take the industry by storm. During this time, he met some of the world’s finest musicians and singers who helped to fuel his vision for a live band that would perform his original music and travel the world with him, while also looking to serve humanity….thus you have….The Traveling Mercy.
